Did you know the Britain has the highest standard of hairdressing in the world for the most reasonable price?

I love to travel and like to treat myself to a blow-dry every now and again, but I’ve been shocked over how much more expensive hair and beauty services are in other parts of the world.

When I was working in New York at the start of the year I was quite shocked to be charged £40 for a blow-dry. When you consider that the average price in the UK is just £20, it got me thinking.

After asking a few friends about their experiences abroad, I found that The Caribbean was the worst offender with a Blow Dry costing a staggering £50! Even places closer to home such as Greece and other popular european destinations, the average price is around £30.

England is very much leading the way in hair fashion at the moment and the quality, attention to detail and passion can truly be seen. In other countries I think they simply treat hairdressing as a way to pay the bills and are missing that spark of passion that you get over here.

We are indeed very lucky ladies to have such a high standard of treatment without the high price tag!
