Coachella 2012 festival hairstyles

Celebrities headed to the Coachella festival in California recently revealing some of the hottest hairstyles for the summer.

Katy Perry was seen sporting a blue hair colour with purple tones and Vanessa Hudgens sported dark long locks with relaxed waves. Both celebrities finished off their different hairstyles with a pretty floral headband to get in full swing of the festival spirit.

Blue hair is a bit too daring for most of us but you could try the dip-dye trend in a soft pink tone or caramel colour.

If you are not keen on the idea of dying your hair, it is easy to create the laid-back finish that you often see many celebrities wear at a festival. After washing your hair add some sea salt spray and dry as usual. This will give your hair texture and volume so it is easier to create loose curls.
